Principal’s welcome

Pacific Paradise State School is set in expansive grounds close to the beach and services the communities of Mt Coolum, Marcoola, Town of Seaside, Mudjimba, Twin Waters and Pacific Paradise. Children also travel from Maroochydore, Bli Bli, Coolum, Nambour and Yandina to attend our school.

Since opening in January 1992, our school has established itself an impressive reputation for achieving high educational outcomes for all students. We are committed to the development of the full potential of each child and provide a curriculum that is matched to the needs of each individual student. This curriculum is enriched by a huge range of additional experiences offered to children. Teachers work together in teams to plan and teach the key learning areas of the Australian Curriculum in an integrated and meaningful way with a clear focus on literacy and numeracy. We are futures orientated: we must prepare our children for a future which will be quite different from today. Technology is embedded into classroom programs to ensure our children have the capacity to embrace modern technologies. "Knowledge, Friendship and Respect" guide our school's operation and form a basis for our belief in the importance of developing sound positive relationships with all school community members.

We welcome the involvement of families in our school community. It is through these effective partnerships that we all work together to continually review our school's operation to ensure we provide the highest quality learning environment for our most important group, our children. We value creating strong partnerships between school and home as we know that this is key to optimal student learning.

Our school is a happy and safe place where individual differences are acknowledged and valued. I would love to show you around our school and discuss the educational opportunites we offer your child. Please contact me if you require further information.
