School Enrolment Management Plan

The enrolment guidelines include further information in the Enrolment Management Plan

Pacific Paradise State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school’s catchment area.

Because of enrolment capacity and growth, Pacific Paradise State School may be unable to meet this obligation in the future unless action is taken to manage enrolments. The Principal must restrict the enrolment of out-of-catchment students to ensure in-catchment students can enrol at their local state school without requiring additional facilities.

Student enrolment capacity

Pacific Paradise State School has a maximum student enrolment capacity of 664 students.

The number of students entering Prep in any given year must not exceed 100 in 4 classrooms, unless there are more than 100 students enrolling from within the catchment area.

Local catchment area

A school's local catchment area is the defined geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of students.

Pacific Paradise State School operates under an equidistant catchment area.

The school's catchment map is available from EdMap.

Enrolment procedure

The Enrolment Management Plan includes further information about in-catchment and out-of-catchment enrolments, acceptance and assessment processes, as well as any associated fees and decisions on enrolments.

For further information regarding Enrolment Management Plans, please  contact the school Principal.

2025 Booklists

The way that Pacific Paradise State School manages student resources is changing from 2025.

Families will NOT be invoiced for Student Resource Scheme (SRS) fees for 2025 and instead are required to provide book packs from the Year Level Booklist attached.

Our team has carefully selected the items on the booklists to match the developmental needs of each year level and to support an engaging curriculum.

We ask that all items be purchased as specified to ensure consistency and readiness in the classroom. Please avoid substituting cheap brands from dollar stores as many of these cheaper versions of products do not have the durability that is required throughout the year. Your co-operation with this is greatly appreciated.

Book packs can be ordered online using the link below and will be delivered to your home. Alternatively, you can purchase the listed items separately yourself.

You can bring your book packs in to school on the Student Free Day on Friday 24th January. Further information will be emailed to families regarding exact times for drop off. If you are unable to drop book packs to school on the student free day, they can be brought to school on the first day on Term 1.

Every school day is an opportunity for students to grow as curious, creative, and capable learners, so it's essential all booklist items are named and brought to school on the first day, ready to go.

Upon enrolment, you will receive a Book pack list and instructions on how to order through COS online.

You will receive an email order confirmation and can also request order tracking sent to your mobile.

Alternatively, you can purchase the listed items separately yourself.

In Year 1-6 all items including books are to be clearly labelled please

In Prep we share items such as scissors, glue, pencils, markers and paints, so there is no need to label these smaller items. If you have labelled them already that is fine too.  All books and folders should be clearly labelled please. (We will have markers on hand if you need to do this on the day).
