At Pacific Paradise State School, we are committed to the development of each and every child to their full potential.  We aim to provide a safe, supportive school environment for all students, staff and school community members.

Our Pedagogical Framework acknowledges the impact of quality teaching through the implementation of a comprehensive framework for effective instruction- The Art and Science of Teaching. 

It reflects the following five levels of operation for a high reliability school:

Within a culture of High Expectations (DQ9), we aim to provide Safe, Collaborative and Supportive Learning Environments through- Engaging students in learning (DQ5); Establishing Routines and desirable behaviours (DQ 6,7); and through developing Positive Relationships (DQ8).

We are strongly focussed on delivering Highly Effective Teaching, Learning and Assessment through:

Establishing Learning Goals and Providing Feedback (DQ1), working with students to Develop New Knowledge, Deepen Knowledge and Show Evidence of their Learning (DQ2,3 and 4); and through Organising Learning into Cohesive Units (DQ10) The Pacific Paradise State School Pedagogical Framework provides standards for:
