Rule of the Week

7/05/2015
Our rule of the week outlines expectations at eating time. The best way to buy food from the tuckshop, is to put in an order before school. This can include drinks and ice blocks. This saves students waiting in queues to get their food and then running out of time to eat it. Students are encouraged to go to the toilet, wash their hands and get a drink at the end of play time. Students make their way directly from the playground to their allocated eat-ing area. Once they have their lunch box, they sit and eat, talking quietly to those in their nearby friendship group. At the end of the eating period, rubbish is placed in the bin and students line up in class groups for the return to their classrooms. This routine maximises eating time and safety of students in transition. It allows for the safe and orderly transition back to learning after break times. Thanks for reinforcing these routines with your chil-dren.
