Bullying. No Way!- Friday 16th March

Bullying. No Way! - National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence
On Friday 16 March, Pacific Paradise State School will join with schools in North Coast Region and Australia-wide as a registered school taking a stand for the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.  The National Day of Action is Australia’s key anti-bullying event for schools and this year the focus for students is to imagine a world free from bullying.  As a part of the weekly School Wide Positive Behaviour for Learning lesson focus in this week teachers and students will address the topic of bullying.  On Friday 16 March MF Martial Arts will be visiting Pacific Paradise State School to work with all classes with a focus on positive self-esteem, what is bullying and what everyone can do about it.
We recognise the important role that parents have, in working in partnership with schools, to address bullying and to assist to send the message that it is never ok.  We ask that you open the conversation with your children about bullying – what it is, what it isn’t and what everyone can do if they see it happening.  To support you in your discussions with your children we encourage you to visit the following websites:
